Can you really call it a lady's luck when a man woo's a woman then goes off with someone else?

Some call it lady’s luck, but is it lady’s luck when one woo’s you,

Then walks off with somebody new?

Seems more like deserting you;

to pick up the pieces and start all over again!

Maybe it’s true, a lady’s luck runs out without any warning,

As the day brings a different calling!

And people’s minds can change;

then you can watch out as love starts to fade!

How we take our lovers for granted

Tell ourselves that they’ll always be there.

That is why right beneath our noses.

They go loving that somebody else!

I say it’s Lady’s luck,

some disagree but what can a woman do,

When love you had finds somebody new?

You’re the one deserted so;

pick up the pieces and start over again!
