How wonderful if the natural things in nature could converse in this way.

Talk to nature

Took a little while to talk to the sky, it rained icy tears that stung my eyes.

Took a little while to talk to the wind, it blew the leaves and the trees were whistling.

Conversed with the trees, who let their branches bow, they listened intently somehow.

Spoke to the flowers admired their blooms, they moved from side to side as they approved.

Called out to the squirrel passing by, she stood on her hind legs then scurried on by.

Hailed the birds flying, singing as they go, they told me there’s nothing that they don’t know.

For nature speaks in ways we understand,

Why can we destroy things precious to man?
