The fog doth come

Throughout this night the fog doth come, thick white grey cloud hovers around.

Silence stings the chilly night, air is sharp and coldness bite.

Throughout this night the fog doth appear, fewer people brave iced air.

Visibility diminishes two feet away.

As you walk you hear nobody just a few cars at snails pace.

Glad to be home keys connect to the door, cough and splutter as the warm air penetrates your lungs.

Door locked tight and silence screams, such is the night of the smog and mean.

Screams of terror pierce the air, silence gives way to confusion as sirens blare.

Emergency services doors all slam, there’s crying and shouting as something is wrong.

Evil stalked the dead cold night, as robbers destroy a persons life

Taking away the little that they had,

Leaving them injured in the dreaded fog.

No one sees, just a scream, chilling cry

Woe was outside my door tonight

How lucky am I?
