No one knows what ills my heart

Those who love me care

Yet they can’t do much

They don’t know what ills my heart

My brain seems somewhat frozen

My speech lost and devoid of feeling

I try to reach out to mommy or daddy

But how can they help if I refuse to talk

Sorrow and shame fills me when I see myself

The body that was brutally handled

Brutally vandalized and left unclean

I want cry out for mommy I want to scream the truth

But he says he will hurt me if I do

Uncle Earn says that my body is his and no one else’s

No one knows what ills my heart

It leaks of blood and unshed tears
