A little girl weeps in a closet beaten and bruised.

She cries so hard she can't breathe.

Momma didn't help her, momma was to scared.

She hates the figure and hates his shadows.

He wasn't there he couldn't be, momma wouldn't let him.

He won't be here now, here to help her from her fears and nightmares.

Her body is on fire with emotional pain,

kinda like electricty running through rain soaked wires.

He won't threaten boys taking her to prom.

He won't walk her down the isle.

He won't see her baby.

Her tears keep coming and they won't stop

daddies not there to stop them from coming.
