drop of water hits the well-
and sustains.
drawn again to quench the thirst-
a glass in a hand.
a family reunion and memories-
salutations, gifts noticed on the way back home.
a warm coat suits the wearer fine,
and lasts seasons if cherished
like shoes that go the distance.
another sip and memories reflected
... droplets land and caught, want not
waste not yet to err is human,
warm fresh bed linens
remembrance of a hospitable environ
closed eyes in hopes to awake again..
