The Candle's LIfe

Poem by: lyre27

Summary

The Candle's Life is my first poem for the summer. I wrote it thinking that if I don't write any poem, I won't be able to post.

The Candle’s Life

The candle flickered throughout the night

Its flame is burning bright

To keep the darkness out of sight

The burning light dance in the day

I’ll blow it off if I have my way

But I don’t have the right to say

Day and night, the candle glow

And the waxes began to flow

In its side, it runs down slow

And as it lives through day and night

It doesn’t have the chance to fight

And will eventually die.
