The years go by; I still remember his face. The world around me is changing, but I still remember what he did. Even though times are different, my mind remains unchanged. He never had to repent for his actions. Why? Why is he still a free man when he had taken something very dear away from me? Why does he not suffer for the life he ended? A man of such unholiness should never be allowed to walk this earth a free man.
Today, I see him and everything he does. Every action is watched. Every place he visits is noted. His actions and habbits are observed and quickly learned. There is nothing he can do that I will not see coming. He is now the prey, and I am the predator.
He is now my prisoner. This is the day I have been waiting for all my life: Judgement Day. He awakes with fear in his eyes. He tries to get up but it is no use because he is bound tightly to a chair that is nailed into the ground. Suddently, he sees me. His face turns white. He remembers. He then realizes that I am holding an object; a sawed-off 20 guage shot gun. Tears flow from his eyes as he begs me to spare him when I pumped the weapon. I point the gun at his face and ask him, "Why?" Without answer, I pull the trigger. Peace is restored within me.
