My Church

People make mistakes,
girls will fall for girls
and boys fall for boys.
Still the world turns.

Even today, Leviticus 18 sings true,
but when Jesus came through
He made us all equal:
lie, murder, idol, love, all the same.

Does my church really teach
His whole unbroken word?
Or are they so blind
to the hypocrisy.

I must ask: what man
lives without sin?
Excommunication denies
the ones who need You most!

The secrecy of a deacon
does not forgive his sins.
The closed lips of the
adulterer do not justify.

God is the fair and just judge
let him decide your fate.
He wants us to love everyone
as He did us.
