Well here I am again

Wide awake and wondering

Where you really are

I'm stuck

With a forever kind of scar

Caught between our yesterday

And an uncertain tommorrow

You keep fast forwarding on a long shot

And I keep rewinding on my sorrow

I keep on telling the memory of you

If you don't mind, I won't have to matter

And half the time I just don't care

If I even get from here to there

Cause I knew everything

Through you

The pages turn

As time winds itself on out

Nothing's changed

But the color of the season

And nothing's the same

I need an explanation

God, just give me a reason

I miss you

Mostly, I miss the me, that loved you

I miss the life you lived so easily

And the smile that was always free

I miss the flame and fire

The sun and even the rain

The good, the bad, the ugly

The laughter

I even miss the pain

Cause I knew it all

Came to understand it all

Loved it all

Lived it all

Through you.
