He journeyed with her
Through what was left of the world
After a catastrophe
She was so little
Much too young
To fend for herself
Without him, she'd die
And he couldn't let that happen
Not for as long as he could help it
They journeyed through
A ruined world with
Only themselves for company
Journeying into the beyond
For a safe place to call home
And he would make sure
She'd get there
She was the only one
He could save in the catastrophe
And she was too little
To fend for herself
This was them
Against the growing dangers of
A ruined world
He'd find her a safe place
No matter how long it took
Dangers be damned
He had to
She needed that
A safe place without the dangers
They journeyed
Through what was left of a world
Marred by a catastophe
Them against the world
Looking for home.
