This is a piece I wrote about three months ago. It doesn't have any particular meaning behind it nor is it solely based on someone. I want my readers to take what they want from it.

You melted in my hand like the sweet tart that was sleeping in my palm when I first asked you to kiss me.

You tasted like honey.

Like golden oozing drops sprinkling my skin.

Daring for me to taste you. Taste the sweet butterfly promises you swore at me through spacey teeth and razzleberry tongue.

When you said that, that one day when the sky was dripping and the clouds were pounding like my heart, I , I almost stopped right there and ran away.

I wanted to run faster than ever before but also slow enough for you to catch me.

You were my friend.

And I whispered dreams in your hair as it burst throught the wind and tangled itself in my fingers.

You loved me.

Said that you would do anything to stop your pain, to stop your struggle, to stop the bleeding of your broken heart.

But, but, wait a minute, what about me?

Yes, me.

The one who blew you kisses through fog the one who held you up and dressed you, who picked your clothes off like flower petals and gently made love to you on a bed of lillies.

What about me?
