Silence echoes through an empty wood

Nothing nor walked, ran or stood

Just the falling of green leaves

Is the sound in this place.

Tree’s tower high above the ground

Letting the silence take their sound

Moss clings to the lonely branches

Hanging down in gray thick strings.

Water divides the this colorful wood

Creating a sparkling blue trail of flowing water

Stones create a path straight down the middle

Only a foot so tiny could hop on a stone that is so little.

Finally, the sun which bathes the forest is no more

As it sinks down into the sky, the light disappears

But the silence is still there

Until the morning sun warms the morning dew

Then this wood will transformed into something brand new
