about having to say goodbye to a loved one going off to war

when we married i knew that one day he would be called to duty and have to go overseas.

but i didnt think it would be today. my husband is in the marines you see and now he has to leave.

leaving me knowing that we may never see eachother again.

i try not to think about the fact that he may never come back but how am i suppose to be positive when the man i love dearly is going to fight on the frontlines.

i pray to god he comes home safely because little does he know i am 1 month pregnant with our first child.

as i look into his blue eyes i can see that he is scared but he claims that he is fine forcing me to show that i am not worried because i dont want him to worry about me while he is overseas.

now as he boards the plane i grab the cross hanging on my necklace and pray he comes back to me safe and sound.

he is leaving as my husband and coming back as my hero.

now i just have to wait a year and a half for him to come home so that i can hug and kiss him once again.

Is this true? If so, I wish you well; as well as your husband. Oorah!

Most sincerely heartfelt, patriotic and well written.

Gave it an "I Like It" vote. Well deserved. Will read and vote for your other postings. At times, without commenting.

Thank you for becoming a fan. Most appreciative.

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.

Was this a true story? Marines don't leave for a year and a half. Regardless I loved it and it showed great emotion.
