Some people rest in peace in the night
Yet for others, a chilling sight
In the middle of the night, alone
He makes his sinister presence known
A creature of the night, fearfully covering
Its grip is forcefully choking, smothering
I can only stay still as I lay paralyzed
The red glow leaves me breathless, mesmerized

Shade will not hide the mask which they don
They are already gone; they cannot move on
Is it over yet? Can I open my eyes?
God, please shelter me from darkness' spies
In this case, my eyes do not deceive me
Can noone else view the things that I see?
There must be protection, at least in due time
The guardian of intervention divine
