.In The Wild.

Poem by: MagicX

Summary

Life is a struggle. Sometimes we feel that we're simply left to fend for ourselves in the wild.

Our immediate surroundings are a dangerous place
The running ground where our predators give chase
An environment where devils play and spirits roam
But this middle earth is not where we should make our home

This is where chemical reactions flow
Where thoughts float and progress begins to slow
Where polarity is never viewed as mild
That is why man will always be in the wild

Turn me on, not off
Lest the demons scoff
Another day to mumble "I'm just fine"
But I'm never fine unless by the divine
At the end of the day I must be awaken
The realization is that I have been shaken

I'm finally coming to terms
Of living with third degree burns
To continue to learn to go forward, lose you
Erase the image in the mirror that I knew
If this is considered hell, it must be mild
Just another day of surviving in the wild
