An epitome of spring - no, a quintessence of it. I just love your eloquence - I just love the beauty your words shine with - like warm glow from ribbons of the sun's rays on a cold, winter day. You captured the truth and colours of spring with this poem, Martine. I love it.
I'm a bit of a nature nerd and I'm currently watching an eight part series documenting the planet's frozen ends (From the North to the South) and I watched an episode of spring last night. The transition from a blanket of cold white to a utopia of colourful flowers of spring was great to watch, and this poem reminded me of that.
Keep writing, Martine. You have an amazing talent.
Wow Nik, I feel absolutely jubilant after reading your comment! I really do admire your work and I'm honored you hold this poem in such high regard. I feel even more buoyant in knowing that this poem reminded you of real natural beauty. The transitions that nature undergoes really is a wonder to behold and can be a real challenge to capture with words. I'm so pleased you liked my interpretation. Thank you so very much :) ??

Very cool! =D I love roses...and here, in Minnesota, in the dead of winter I look through all of my mother's pictures of our roses. =) Spring is so beautiful...

This poem was lovely. It very acuratley shows a movie for me, of the winter process. I loved it!
Great job again!!! =D
I adore roses as well though my favorite flowers are orchids and my favorite time of year is spring; I wrote this because I miss it :( Thanks so very much for reading and leaving such a kind and thoughtful comment; so happy you enjoyed the experience of reading it??
Hmmmmm:) even Sharkspear would be jealous at the sight of such poetic excellent depicted in this piece. This kinda seals the deal. Life begins at spring and Spring will forever win the battle of season. Great is thy faithfulness oh Lord our Father, there's no shadow of turnings with thee. Summer and winter, springtime and harvest, you never change, you remain the same. And Through the seasons thats change, your grace remains my hiding place and your love will never steps retrace.
Wow I'm honored that you'd say such a thing; youre too kind, but thank you so much!I appreciate you comments; their beautiful on their own! Thank you again for taking the time to read Ekeuhie, I do appreciate it:)
