Suddenly the world became blur. He couldn’t get his breath. He felt choking on his own spit, unable to concentrate. “What to do?” he asked himself. “My phone…” he thought and immediately tried to get a hold of it. He was almost unconscious. He dialed the first number in the list. It rang.

Across the town a ringtone filled the room. She looked at her phone. “That pig that I gave my number at the bar yesterday…” she thought when she saw the number. Then she apologized to her colleges and they continued their meeting.

By its end she had all but forgotten about it. The next day she saw it in the newspaper.

“Time of Death – round 1430?

His photo haunted her for a long time. But the image on her phone never left her at peace.

“One Missed Call – 1409?
