Find a way to articulate
Try not to hesitate

They see you lying on the floor
And they ask you why you're fighting a loosing war
How do you explain your downfall?
How do you tell them that you finally answered the call?
Find a way to articulate
Try not to hesitate

Tell them about how you slowly fell down
How every time you breathe it's like you're about to drown
The darkness is slowly dragging you under
But you don't want to die to the sound of thunder
Find a way to articulate
Try not to hesitate

Tell them that really, you're trying
But honestly, this feeling? It's you dying
There's no pretty way of saying it
Try as you might, you'll accept it
This has been your tragic downfall
Fight it if you really have the gall
Find a way to articulate
Try not to hesitate

The battle is far from done
The darkness is fighting, but no one's won
You try not to give up
But you're lying on the floor and the voices won't shut the fuck up
And here we are, back at the start
But then again, Act 4, Scene 7, you'll like this part
You're fighting the shadows that have been inflicted
The darkness is not as strong as depicted
It's not gone for good,
But for now you've won
Find a way to articulate
Try not to hesitate
