This Line I Walk

I walk this line

afraid to falter

"teeter" from side to side

now, forced to alter

Perfection is on my left

Deception to the right

Insipid ....what I fear the most

Perception is the light

This line it strays,

away from my chosen path

a line, I can not follow

forced to face its wrath

Someone guides me...along my way

a hand that I need to hold

Emotions fill my soul, of

thoughts that cant be told

I dream a thousand dreams

a task I have perfected....

I fall into the fantasy

of a life that is rejected

still, i keep walking, everyday

staying in this perfect line

playing this heartbreaking game

goal...to clear my mind

I feel the end.....and

it trembles my heart

my life , I do not recognize

This line has torn it apart
