When two people in a relationship just can't get on the same page regardless of varied attempts, sometimes it seems easier to rip the pages out.

Is it the conniving voice of lucifer sounding like a plea to call the shots
Is this strong desire to be loose of her my old desire to be where I'm not

Insecure questions followed by my name wash away any task that I'm on
Fighting has now become strangely inviting, cos it brings silence that's refreshingly calm

Listening to "You Can Go Your Own Way" and other strategies that worked with your Steve
are an encouraging attempt that will serve you well: you'll realise I'm not him or youll leave

If only you knew how I long to provide the acceptance and love that you crave
but each time I do your subconcious chooses to hide in the suspicion of which youre a slave

This poem carries a lot of emotion. That is the most important part to me. For flow I would spell out the word such as (you will instead of you'll). Nice writing.
