With our sins
He will take our lives
He'll skin us with knives
Then he shall leave
And we shall grieve
And with the next sin
It will again begin

hey malaxter ! i read both of your poems "Progression of man" and this one, good stuff. please check out my new short story "the haunted house" and send me some feedback, Thanks!
Happy to hear you like my stuff. I will try to read yours.
This one's great too. Though I like the last line better as: it will begin again. Is how I read it. That's just me, though. ;)
I wanted it that way, but it did not rhyme.
A dark truth you just spoke. Sorry of that sounded like Yoda, my English sometimes sounds better in my head. I sure hope death isn't really like that. Like this one too! You truly do have talent!
This was quite dark, but I did enjoy reading it. I did like the last line the best, "It will again begin." There was a sense of hopelessness, and I could really feel that as I read this.
Thank you. That is exactly what I was trying to get across.
