Frank wrote a poem called "A Glorious Warrior". He dared me to write my version similar in nature. Reading between the lines of his poem I entertained the thought that his warrior (woman) may have won over her opponent because he backed down. Well; I don't think so! In my version he was whipped before he had a chance to BLINK! Frank please; never forget “It's a woman's world because MEN are in it"

Glorious Warrior??? (Frank’s Dare)

I just read a poem written by Frank Atanacio
who always writes about stuff pretty whacko
this was no different; it got a rise out of me
he dared me to write about vampires you see

I don’t have a clue about this subject of lore
so I’ll look into history maybe find the gore
it’s not what I’m used to, and makes me nuts
but I’ll take on the challenge; that is a must!

His lady vampire was a warrior at heart
perceptive, beautiful, she tore things apart
her fellow of sorts was merely a token
he didn’t know he was about to be broken

She fought the darkness with a certain flair
but not for a moment did she think to despair
he thrashed on, and on, wouldn’t admit defeat
unaware that he was her blood thirsty treat

She battled him gloriously his blood everywhere
while rattling his cage such laughter to share
he was getting weaker with fists barely clashing
only the sound of his blood slowly splashing

I didn’t study up on this subject too good
and took some of your lines because I could
the first line of this stanza is very bad grammar
because, I didn’t think it would really matter

Frank pay attention because I want you to see
this vampire guy of yours did not walk free
she had him caged; a captive quite smitten
and all of man-kind will be painlessly bitten

Ha, Ha, Ha
