A young girl lays, alone and confused

Watching as her family is brutally abused

While you lay in your luxurious bed

Another child gone, another baby dead

The way they lived you wouldn’t last a day

But their entire life is lived this way

Rape, murder suicide and extortion

Unplanned pregnancies leading to abortion

All they see is pain hurt and crime

It’s all that exists in their lifetime

From others discarded rags as their clothes

To being forced to work as corner ho’s

They don’t know any better

For this is the way they live forever

Growing up in the ghetto Trap
There’s no way out, no turning back.
