There’s this girl I sometimes see,

That I think I need to know

There’s something about her,

In my eyes she seems to glow.

Her outside is beautiful

Is her inside the same

I need to work this out.

And learn more than just her name

She’s smiled a few times

Once she even said “hey”

I just stood astounded

As she turned and walked away

She walked past many times

But I was just too shy

Conversation was limited

To nothing more than a simple “hi”.
