Summary

More of the Same was written in 1988. I guess that is when I started exploring the caveman thing. No writing is ever really finished. I read some of raindowns work and remembered 1988 as a summer of love. In my case it was several women it didnt matter. It's about giving them what they wanted an image. Married or not they were attracted. I had 2 pockets of money, a Trans Am it was a year of decadence outright gluttony. I gave them what they wanted not what I wanted. Dom22 made me dig it up because he made a comment to one of my poems that "somethings never change"
He hit the bullseye and he hadnt read More of the Same

Nothing here before me,
Nothing left behind,
Nowhere to go but forward,
Or nowhere to go at all.
Nothing ever mattered.
What could be mor fun
But more fun?

I can't see no more.
It isn't me no more.
I thank god for that
No more of the same.

Quest for fire,
Caveman's dream,
A launching pad for other things.

No we're looking skyward,
Nowhere to go but forward,
Or nowhere to go at all.
In the beating of my heart,
I feel another heart.
Primitive as it seems,
Another caveman's dream.
Some things never change.
I thank God for that.
