ADAM - THE INNOCENT.

I never was a baby, I never was a child,
As a man God Created me - and that is how I awoke!
He'd put me in a Garden, as Beautiful as can be;
He'd Breathed Life into my body and opened my eyes as He Spoke!
He Gave me all the world to care for,
Each animal and bird and fish He Gave the name I spoke!

I was so happy in The Garden of Eden,
But lonely when God was away.
So... He put me into a deep sleep
And Gave me a mate that day...
She was called woman, because she was taken from man,
I named her Eve without delay!

We had so much fun together,
Roaming where ever we pleased.
We could eat what ever we wanted,
Only fruit from 'The Tree of Knowledge' was not to us released.
We worked the land together,
The Blessings of God never ceased.

Everywhere was Beautiful,
Such a Joy to behold.
We were Fit and Strong and Healthy -
And never would grow old!
The days flew by so pleasantly,
We were Happy and Carefree and Bold.

The BEST TIME of each day, was the evening,
When to Visit us God came.
We'd share our thoughts and happenings
And God would do the same!
We had NO idea of right, or wrong,
We were happy when God Came to Meet us and Called us by name!
