MARY WEPT...

Mary Wept...
... wondering where her submission to God's Will would lead her...
... would it mean rejection by Joseph, her fiance?
... would it mean rejection by family and friends?
... would it mean death by stoning through her people's laws?
... would God really Use her to His Glory?

Mary Wept...
... as she cradled her baby boy to her breast...
... as the kings left to return home, leaving a gift that foretold death...
... as the shepherds and other visitors returned to their own lives...
... as she and Joseph fled to Egypt - hearing the wailing left behind...
... would God really Use her Son to His Glory?

Mary Wept...
... as they franticly searched among the throng for their son...
... as they forced a way back through the stream of pilgrims...
... as they asked if anyone had noticed a young boy on his own...
... as they entered The Temple to hear His Voice Speaking to the  elders...
... would God really Use her Son to His Glory?

Mary Wept...
... as the disciples told her Son that His family waited...
... as she heard Him Say, "My Family are here with Me now!"...
... as she realised that the sword, foretold so long ago, was preparing to pierce her heart...
... as she recognized the 'storm clouds' gathering on the faces of the Pharisees...
... would God really Use her Son to His Glory?

Mary Wept...
... as her role in His Life drew to a close...
... as she watched His Battered Body dragging the heavy Cross...
... as she watched His Agony as He Hung in Excruciating Pain...
... as He Showed His Loving Care, asking John to be her son, before Dismissing His Spirit...
... would God really Use her Son to His Glory?

Mary Wept...
... as they carried her Son to His last Resting Place...
... as they annointed His Body with The Gift given by kings so long ago...
... as the stone was rolled over the entrance to a stranger's tomb...
... as the little band of mourners turned sadly away...
... would God really Use her Son to His Glory?

Mary Wept...
... as Mary Magdeline came running with 'The Good News' - "He's Alive!"...
... as she raced back with Mary to see The omb for herself...
... as her Beloved Son Bid them wait patiently for His Spirit...
... as tongues of fire and strange languages came upon 'The Faithful'...
... Now... NOW she knew that God was Using her Son to His Glory!!!
