SPRING.

March came in like a lion,
Bringing wind and rain.
It SEEMED to continue winter's icy crip,
Saying "All year will be the same!"
Yet... daffodils bloom and toss and sway,
Day after rainy day.
Buds begin to burst on trees,
Such a pretty green are these...
It really has such a special shade... somehow translucent...
Dancing in the breeze.
Blossoms burst like tiny stars,
Lifting spirits in the sun's warm rays!
The lion's roar has finished,
As the wind's strenth diminished!
March leaves as gently as a lamb,
Chickens hatched and tadpoles swam.
April showers, warmer sun,
Lambs gambol in the fields, having such fun.
Tender buds develop into leaves,
Varying shades along each branch weaves.
The days draw longer all the time,
More blossoms burst into flowers sublime!
Flowers bloom on the ground,
Bringing such beauty without making a sound.
The sap's arising - unaware -
That all of nature is whispering a prayer...
Thanking The Loving God Who Created this season,
Which offers hope in every heart...  No one really knows the reason!
May is gaily decked with such delicate hues,
Spring, lovely spring is here, birdsong spreads the Glad News!
