THE WIND.

Playing hide and seek,
Among the branches of a tree.
The sun shines down and makes a rippling, dappled pattern,
Through the leaves that flutter so free...

Whistling over mountains,
Whipping snowflakes into a blizzard.
Lifting eagles up to soar so high,
They can hunt a snake, or a lizard...

Gently blowing through ripening corn,
Looking like waves on the sea.
Wafting gently through exotic blossoms,
Carrying their perfume fragrantly...

Driving sand into a frenzy,
Dancing a blinding jig.
Sweeping out to sea, filling the sails of a ship,
Helping it to reach its destination, as the sailors climb each rig...

Lifting autumn leaves gently,
As children run and play.
Carrying the scents of autumn,
As shades of gold and russet and ruby, each tree displays...

Racing across frozen ice lands,
Of shimmering blue-tinged white.
Sparkling in the sunshine, deceptively beautiful,
And, through the force of the wind, deadly alright...

Then... there's The Wind of The Holy Spirit,
Which Travels where ever God Sends...
Its facetss the same as in nature,
But Its Work is spiritual and never ends...

It Whispers The Love of The Father,
And Jesus, His Son...
And Strengthens, Empowers and Enables us -
Until our work is done!
