There was a young babe born in a stall,
Who willingly Answered God's Call!
As a young lad He Grew
And threw His elders in a stew!
Because He Loved God more than all!

Religion He Turned on its end!
God's Love for ALL to the last He did Defend!
He went to The Cross,
To burn away life's dross!
So our broken lives He could Mend!

The enemy thought that he had won!
With Jesus he planned to have such 'fun'!
The pain He'd gone through,
Was just the start in his view!
Through Eternity he'd torture God's Own Son!

What a shock Jesus' Resurrection must have been -
No one ever before had escaped form his scene.
What rage he must have displayed...
His servants for his anger must have paid!
The shattering of his dream was a disappointment keen!

His fury he released on the earth,
He tries to stop people realizing the possibility of Rebirth.
He might win for a while,
But he hasn't got Jesus' Style...
He Shows people what HE Thinks they are really worth!

Now my tale is almost done,
With Jesus' we can have REAL FUN!
He's Loving and Kind... and... mistakes He doesn't mind!
What matters is that we ACCEPT Him,
As our Saviour - God's Son!
