WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME FOR TEA?

Would you like to come for tea?
We'll eat at half past four...
I'm not sure what we'll eat yet,
But I'll be 'Mum' and pour!

Perhaps I'll make a salad,
From dandelion leaves.
With marigold petals for colour...
And nectar sauce if you please!

Or maybe we could have worm cake?
They wriggel so delightfully you know!
You don't fancy that idea today dear?
Well... perhaps I'll leave them in the mud to grow!

I've got a little saucepan,
With some of Mum's cold tea...
I thought that if I stirred in some clover heads,
It would taste better for you and me!

I managed to find some toadstools,
And turned them upside down...
They look like little pizzas,
Decorated with buttercup petals and thistledown!

What about rose petal ice cream?
Or maybe fairy delight?
I keep on forgetting how to make them...
I hope I can get them right!

Perhaps my darling Mother,
Will take pity on me.
She'll make a splendid picnic tea,
For my dollies, my teddy and me!
