Walking into the room seeing you on your death bed
"Come right in and say goodbye" my grandmother sadly said
It's so sad seeing you like this on the verge of death
I look at you with tears in my eyes as you take your last breath
I walk over to you and check your pulse
There's no heartbeat at all
I put my hand against your face
Moving closer to give you a warm embrace
This is really happening?
You're really gone?
These questions running inside my head
As I start to realise your actually dead
I am literally living my worse nightmares
I'm guessing god never answered my prayers
I was up all night praying for you
Praying that you would have pulled through
I wish you would have lived longer, I really do.
You don't know just how much I'm going to miss you
I love you Mum
With all my heart
Just wish I had the chance to say it sooner
