It finally happened, on October 25th 2014, zombies were finally walking and moaning in the streets of the city; Andrew Slawson couldn’t be happier when he saw this from his apartment. Since his teenage years he has been waiting for this day, preparing supplies, buying weapons, training with said weapon, playing zombie themed video games, watching zombie themed movies and reading The Zombie Survival Guide religiously.

He inserted the last last slug he could put into his shotgun, pumped it and made sure he had his bag on him. Andrew didn’t think he was going to survive all that long in the apocalypse, and he didn’t care. All that he wanted to do was kill as many zombies as he could before he died.

Andrew went out into the hallways and quickly looked left and right to notice a zombie was with him in the hallway. He also quickly notice that it was his neighbor Bill zombified that was roaming. He quickly took aim and fired a shot.

Boom, headshot.

The now headless corpse of the zombie fell on the floor. Gore and blood could be found on the wall and floor and holes riddled the wall in front of him. Andrew’s body shuddered a bit, he had been waiting a long time to kill a zombie in such a gruesome manner.

Andrew was of course a bit sad that Bill had been infected. Bill was also a big zombie aficionado; they frequently had discussion about zombie survival techniques and debated which weapon would be the best for the apocalypse. He remembered recently Bill was preparing for an event that was supposed to happen that, though it seems that destiny had other plans for him.

He looked at the corpse and noticed that it lacked any bite marks. A question quickly invaded his mind, how did his friend got infected?

After a short moment, the frequency of his heartbeat increased. He had realised there was only one way that it could have got his friend, the infection spreads through the air.

Realising the time he probably had left was short, Andrew quickly ran through hallway to the stairs of the building. If he was going to become a zombie, he was going to make sure he could take out as many as possible.

He quickly made it to the front door of the building. He took a couple of breaths and kicked the door open with his shotgun in hand.

He quickly fired a couple of shots into the hoard, seeing them fall helped him feel better about his predicament until he heard the hoard start screaming.

“Somebody, call 911.”

“Dude, what the fuck?”

“Oh god! It hurts so much!”

“Osti, je peux tu manger ma poutine en paix calise?”

Andrew quickly looked around wondering what was going and saw a banner that said,”Montreal Zombie Walk.”

He pumped his shotgun and fired one last shot.
