Sins

by maroonjorie

I lied to my mother

about where I went.

I cheated on a test

and felt no guilt.

I envy those

who have more than me.

I stole a dollar

from a baby.

I cheated on him

with the guy next door.

I think I'm the

prettiest girl in the world.

I make others

do my chores.

I sleep around

but I'm not a whore.

So come on

it's just between us,

that you sin just as much.
