Bullying is a very important issue in schools all around the world.  I was bullied very badly at the age of ten years old when I was in fourth grade. Most days I would walk home and most days I was bullied. I acted like I didnt care but anyone who saw the bullying I expierienced would know that I did care. Very much so.  I would act a little odd, even I will admit that. I talked in a very odd squeaky voice( on purpose) and I ate dandelions and flowers. I guess I only had a few friends at school anyway and only one of them walked with me, I knew I didnt have anything to lose so why try to act like everyone around me and be a bully. So, this girl, a mexican girl who was named Alexandria would bully me.  My first expierience was this: I was walking and blowing bubbles and it was a little windy. Some of my bubbles went with the wind... into Alexs sisters face. " Excuse me, why did you just do that?" , she yelled more just to yell at me then to ask a question, Didnt answer her highness. So, she dumped out my bubbles and I spat on the ground next to her. Not to spit on her ofcourse because she was a fifth grader and I was a fourth grader and that would not hurt her but tick her off. I guess it was a pretty childish way to show disgust. Then she pulled my hair and head back. I remember wishing she would get her filthy hands off of me. " Try that again" she told me angrily. I decided to run. I knew this was stupid: but I got far enough forward and I yelled " I enjoyed spitting on you" even if I knew that I had not infact: I had NOT spit on her. her sister Veronica yelled " Run Ellie! Run!" No problem I thought seeing that Alex was really coming for me fast. So here I was running as fast as I could: for my life I thought still looking through a fourth graders eyes. I ran and ran but she did too and she gained more and more on me as I ran. Finally, I could run no further. I couldnt move, stopped dead in my tracks all of my pride went away as Alex put me in a headlock held tightly to me, pulled my hair and slapped me across the face. Then she pushed me down. " Try again", she said smiling running all the way home. Her sisters and my friend Abby Taylor were helpful but they couldnt stop a fifth grader from pounding me into dust. I stood up and started to cry ,I felt babyish doing this: but even so, I called my mom to pick me up. " Mom, I need you to pick me up", I said bawling into the phone. " Whats the matter?", she asked with a sigh. After her telling me she would pick me up and also, that she couldnt understand a word i was saying I walked a few more feet to dollar general to wait for her.  I cried more quietly now wondering if there was security cameras outside of the store. A car parked on the side of the road by me and I wiped my eyes and smiled. A crossing guard  got out. I felt uncomfortable. " Waiting for your mum?" asked a woman in her 50s or 60s. " Yes", I replied smiling. The woman nodded and went inside. I  waited for what seemed like 1 million years before my mom came. I explained what had happened. She asked me where this girl lived. I knew which road she lived on but not where her house was. So, we went to my school and my mom told her I had "expierienced" some bullying and she just wanted Alexs parents to know. I explained to the woman in the office what had happened. After hearing what had happened to me she asked " was it a bib container of bubbles or just a small one?" What kind of container of bubbles was it is the most important thing here? I asked myself completely annoyed. " A small one", I answered. Well, since it happened off of school grounds theres not much we can do about it,so you might have to involve the police." My mom looked at her for a minute about as annoyed looking as me. "Isnt that a little extreme for kids fighting?" she asked. Welcome to the club, girlfriend I thought. After that me and my mom left it alone.  The bullying didnt happen for a while after that until one day. I was walking with my friends Abby and Alexs sister brianna walked with us." Your not supposed to walk with anyone!", Alex yelled. Why because you were a twit? , I thought. " Espiacally not her", said Alex refferring to me. Still, Brianna stayed and alas, so did Alex. Soon her wretched thoughts of me poured out because of my purpousful voice and because I ate a bird berry. Crap!' I thought spitting it out. Finally, i told Alex I had and should continue recording her for the past fifteen minutes. " I dont care." But she did. "So", I told her " I can show mrs. Burton or anyone!" She looked pale after that. " Mrs. Burton cant do shit.", said her friend Jake. Me and Abby covered our mouths in shock. " Yeah" , said Alex stil sounding nervous. Finally, she could take it no more. " DELETE. IT. NOWWWWWW!", she screamed at me. "no." i told her plainly and so there I was once again in a headlock with her filthy paws on me. and. my . phone. " GIVE ME THAT NOW!", I yelled as the last of the documents had been deleted and do you know what? There was an adult, her cousin infact, right there watching this without even a word to Alex. He cant say even that. He couldnt even say that. And now, reader Isnt it obvious that I was not infact, born in 1996, but the year of 2002. Thats right. Are your kids bullied? Were you ever bullied? And now my readers the most important question: can we stop it? Please I beg of you talk to your children and encourage them to speak up(if you have any that is) Please, do your part in stopping that and thank you very much so, for reading. Goodbye.
