This is a personal poem I wrote on Christmas day, just before moving 1,500 miles away to start a new chapter of my life. I had been thinking about many things, especially from my past. This happens a lot to me, and my emotions come to me through poetry. I hope you enjoy this and are able to relate.

She is the Yin, I am the Yang

She is the sun, and I am the rain

She feels no pain, while I go insane

She is me

She is free, but I am grounded

She fights, but I am surrounded

She sees clear, but I am clouded

She is me

She is love, but I am hate

She accepts, while I negate

She is solid, but I break

She is me

She sees the light, but I am in darkness

She feels no spite, but I am heartless

She has faith, but I am godless

She is me

She dances, she plays, she laughs, and she sways

I hurt, I betray, I am cursed, and I decay

She is inside me

She tries to guide me

She waits for the day she can break free

For she is me
