Harriet turned 21 so this poem went into a card I made for her. It's not too deep but it's clean and that was the hard part.

How many years have been and gone

Since mum & dad’s eyes brightly shone

Beholding their prize lovingly won

I’ll tell you, it’s been 21

All that time spent growing up

To fully fledged from little pup

From dolls to boys and making up

Let’s celebrate and drink a cup

21 years are all you’ve known

From little girl to fully grown

Perfect skin and structured bone

It’s time to branch out on your own.
