So scared,

I am afraid to sleep.

i can not close my eyes,

afraid to be week.

I can not explain

to some one who cannot here.

If you do not here,

my crying tears,

then you do not deserve

to hear

why I cannot sleep.

I await

until the sun arrives.

I go to school

with bags under my eyes.

I look at no one,

hoping none can see

to tears

that i am crying.

I am trying

to stay awakes,

but every time

my hair is covering my face

I am asleep

in a wonder dream.

I do not dream

of sugar plums

but instead

have nightmares

that make me scared.

When I am home,

I am afraid to turn my back.

I am afraid

to close my eyes.

If you do not here my crying tears,

then you do not deserve

to hear me

tell you why

I am afraid

almost

all the

time
