She looks into his eyes. He looks into hers. She doesn't see any lies And her eyes begin to blur. She can't keep back the tears When he is what she lacks And he is oh so near. She needs him With every inch And limb. They sit together on the bench. Nothing near them Just looking. The light goes dim And they finally start talking. He holds her As she cries And her eyes begin to blur. She hasn't seen any lie in his eyes Her heart has been broken It has been used As if it were a token she has been abused. But what she doesn't know Is why He wont say any thing but no To the lies the others Have said and done He makes her feel like a feather And as hot as the sun. He says I love you She thinks to herself it's true. She says \"I love you too\" But only if he really knew How much she hasn't heard Or believed those words They sound like a heard Of beautiful singing birds.
