A funeral. Of all things I could be at today, it has to be a funeral. Not just any funeral but the funeral of my best friend and lover all in one. She didnt deserve it, she was to young. She was only twenty fucking years old. My beautiful Naomi took her own life.......why? She had amazing parents who were so supportive about her being a lesbian. She had me, her lover and best friend. She had two beautiful daughters that love her so much. But today we have to be at this graveyard, dressed in black, and standing in front of a coffin that holds my dead girlfriends body.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked behing me to face Anna, Naomi's mother. "Are you okay Cally. You seem out of it."

I wanted to just snap right there. Of course I seem out of it, I'm at my true loves funeral. But instead I just nodded and walked up to the side of the coffin. I layed a single black rose on her chest and kissed her lifless body on the forhead. I raised up and studied the body, hoping to see the rise and fall of her chest as she breathes, the fluter of her eyelashes as she opens her eyes, but it was hopless. A chill rushed through my body and I knew she was there. I backed away and walked to her oldest daughter, who was fifteen, to comfort her. I pulled her into a tight hug and we cried in each others arms for a while.

"I don't know what I'm going to do Cally. I'm only fifteen and I've already been through so much." Stella pulled away from my hug and wiped her eyes.

"You can get through this, I know you can. Where's Abigail?" Abigail was Naomi's youngest daughter, being three years old. She always brought joy to the worst times.

"Grandma and grandpa took her home." Stella motioned for me to sit down so I did. She layed her head on my soulder and sighed.

We were having dinner and I was chasing Abigail around ther dinning table. Stella was helping Naomi set the table and they were both telling us to settle down.

Once I caught Abigail I put her in her high chair. I sat in the seat next to the highchair, Stella sat next to me, and Naomi sat in between Stella and the highchair. Naomi and I took turns feeding Abigail as we all ate and talked about our day. We were a real family, happy and healthy.

-end of flashback-

Once I came back to reality I knew I couldn't let theese two beautiful girls down. We're family, and family is supposed to stick together. "We'll get through this together. I promise."
