Dementia disassociates
Relating that which don’t relate
Connecting thoughts to sounds and walls
Touching ground and bathroom stalls

See behind the biased eyes
Framework infuriates cold lies
Truth inside intervenes
To all those spaces in between

Dropped my mind off today
Be back tomorrow down this way
Pick it up and fix it right
Fighting good fight, is that all right?

Disturbed, pent up, annoyed
See the plot tricked and ploy
Trust is something else
For someone else
Something that I may well destroy

Coming together to an end
This friend, however, is no friend
