Eyes of Distance
Passion and compassionless
She stares at me with nothingness
Pale green eyes of distance
Smiling into meaningless
Speaking without choosing words
Hoarding chaos, broken words
Spoken of her want
Caring nothing of my need
Well I found her my needful mate
Echoing in amusement state
Holding nothing to which I relate
As in my room I’ve learned to hate
Can’t get it out of my head
In my heart I’m heavy
Can’t get that feeling from of my head
As I’ve died a death upon my bed
Can she not feel the air?
And feel this burning soul does care?
Thrown this final chance with me
God was not this easy
No God was not this easy
