Life without a goal

On a road invisible with haze

I walked with an endless gaze,

All I can see is a gloomy light

Dreaming of a day it ll be bright,

I wondered the reason for this bafflement

It was clear the time I made commitment,

I started to ruminate about the pals of mine

Who took the road as mine.

I could feel my legs getting heavier

Hearing sounds of failure.

Though I could see none

I sense being surrounded like sun.

I was like a sitting duck

Grieving about my misluck.

Had I gone too far away

To look for an alternate way.

I sat pleading in the haze

To get me out of this maze.

Hoping to see a mighty hand

Lifting me of the land.

All faith did I loose

Leaving my life to excuse.

Reaching the great empyrean

I saw the road I had chosen.

For all did I know I was in a vicious circle.
