onne Gould
21 SeptembernearLeigh
she sits there all alone
her eyes a vacant stare
she never knew a trillion years ago
that she would still care

a memory causes a flicker
and brings a tear to her eye
how did it come to this
the never ending goodbye

a song on the radio
shoots a shock through her system
the hands she reaches out to hold
have gone ,she has missed them

she seeks solace in a bottle
the bottom creeping near
the pain and hurt inside her mind
brings on another tear

closing her eyes
blots out another day
in the darkness of the night
she wishes that he had stayed

tomorrow the sun will rise
and her pain and tears just wont go
she wishes she,d known the truth
a trillion years ago
