To You; the salt's in your eyes,
Formed crudely by the deep
Glacier tears, that gorged
Slits down your face.

To You; you wipe them away,
Blinking, unthinking, laughing
In the fears, those hidden
And lost in your maze.

To You; a can of candied confusion,
A profusion of drinking -
You're sinking,
You're waiting -

To You; you fool,
You're used.
You lose.
You're shamed and unabashed.
The days turn into years...

To You; the shades of dull grey,
A weak sun, a mass of black
clouds still last.

To You; the salted diamond eye,
'Cos you've been crying,
You've been weeping solo.

So for You; Hope.
For You; Love.
For You; a spark that
became a flame that
became a fire that
burned.

It burned violet and red,
and amber and blue
for You.

And burned up the past.
