Wham!

The Sweat Sticks
to the skin and the air
con whirs in this
Tokyo Dream.

It's stuck. It stays.
It's like leeches,

It won't go away.

Wham!

But your banner rises high,
Begging crystallite
up above,

Your banner is love.
It sticks in this
strange place.

Wham!

Flash! Crack!
It's those fearful
lights.
It's those busied
streets, yogurt
faces, road
sweepers,
rubber plants
and thinking
outside the

box.

And the dream
has
stoppped.

And the screams
have
gone.

We're like leeches.
We stick. We stay.
We wait. We wait
a minute, an hour,
a day.

We wait for life
to come wafting our way.

Wham!

Your banner rises high,
Begging crystallite
up above,

Your banner is love.
It sticks in this fear.
Your banner is love.

And the dream
has

stopped.
