Only in the midst of death will I be happy

Only in the shadow of the world with no one to beat me

Will I have joy

Dying, flying, towards an eternity of emptiness

Because I know there is no afterlife

For if there was heaven this "God" would have helped me

And if there is hell then I am not worried

No pain, no heat can be worse than living

In a cold, cold world, where no one is listening

To many times I've been struck to the ground

To many times I've been beat like a hound

I don't care about punches I love the pain

They make me feel alive again

It's words that kill me

Bring tears like the Nile

Only in death can I ever feel real

Accepted like the friendship I try to steal

Reaching to try to get on the boat

But I fall through as it's only a ghost

I envy the ghost I wish I was him

Him, the ghost which no longer lives

Come ghost, let me be free

Let me be what I want to be

Let me be dead, Let me decease

Because Only in death will my pain be released
