Connected Fate

I think there's some connection that we share

Our eyes find one another and get locked in stare

Though no words have ever been spoken

The silence is still somehow broken

Through your melancholy eyes I can see you've been hurt

You've been pushed around, knocked down, and dragged through the dirt

You're seeking someone who knows just how you feel

Well I'm that someone who will sweep you off your heels

Why else would our gazes always meet

If we weren't here to make each other's life complete

So here I am lying in wait

This is more than coincidence - It is fate
