It seems we have a problem in the world today
We don't have any morals left – we let them go astray
Teens are having sex, drinking, and getting high
Just living in the moment, while life passes them by

What happened to having dreams and setting goals
A tear in moral fiber, and they slipped through the holes?
16 and pregnant – that's the new trend
The innocence of their youth, they can never mend

They don't play yahtzee, checkers, or scrabble
Instead it's quarters, beer pong, and flip cup they dabble
15 years old, and passed out on the floor
A hangover the next day - who could ask for more

Getting stoned with friends at an early age
Smoking pot at parties seems all the rage
14 is too young to be holding a joint
I know I can't change this – I'm just making a point

Who's responsible for kids acting this way
Mom and dad are to blame at the end of the day
Parents, talk to your kids while you still have the chance
Don't let society mold them in it's unforgiving expanse
